Where the price ranges on watch pages come from.
Method
Each watch page shows an indicative pre-owned price range in US dollars, with the market data it was built from: auction results, dealer listings and published median sale prices. Every data point links to its source.
Limits
- Ranges assume a typical pre-owned example; condition, dial and box and papers move a watch within them.
- They’re reviewed by hand and dated. They aren’t live prices, an appraisal or an offer to buy or sell.
- Watch prices have no effect on token prices, and token prices have no effect on watches.
